Formal Inquiry: The Sonata Undressed is a one-of-a-kind performance that weaves chamber music, visual art and poetry into a complex exploration of the classical sonata form.
One of the most dominant composing structures in music for more than two centuries, the sonata was at one point more than a kind of music – it was, arguably, almost a way of thinking.
Inspired by the form, a small group of musicians, poets and visual artists have come together to learn more about sonatas and discover how they can work in music, poetry and visual art.
This fascinating, experimental work culminates in a live performance and presentation at Velocity Dance Center June 10-12, 2011. We hope you will join us there in celebrating the power of tradition to inspire experimentation.

It carries a bunch of wonderful information and facts.
Many thanks -Ilse
Ilse,
Is a long time specific enough? The whole project took about a year, 3-4 months of which was research. Thanks for reading!
That is some inspirational stuff. Never knew that opinions could be this varied. Be certain to keep writing. gdeegaedaebb
